Job Description: Wright Tree Service of CanadaABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking multiple Arborist Labourers to join Wright Tree Service of Canada (Wright Canada Holdings Ltd.) for various locations within Southern Alberta as integral members of our crew, gaining hands on training experience in the vegetation management industry. We offer:Competitive hourly wageFull benefits packagePaid travel time, living out allowance, and accommodations when away from homeEmployee ownership planAll equipment and tools supplied including climbing gearComprehensive training and career development opportunitiesKEY RESPONSIBLITIESCommitted to working safely (fit for work), supporting a positive and productive team environment.Capable of performing physically demanding manual labour in all weather conditions.Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and/or feeds brush into a woodchipper.Performs site set-up and take down including unloading and loading equipment; setting up barriers/ warning flags; and keeping the site picked up and orderly.Adheres to safety requirements and ensures crew members are working safely.Perform other job-related duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSA High School Diploma or higher.Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record, air brakes endorsement a plus.Ability to work as a crew member in a physically demanding environment.Motivated to work both independently and as a team member and with good time management.Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.Working around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, storm work) and will be subject to call-out work.Must have valid First-Aid and CPR certificates.ABOUT USAn employee-owned company formed in 2017, Wright Canada Holdings is a prominent leader in several environmental services industries, representing our family of companies across Canada and is comprised of Spectrum Resource Group, Wright Tree Service of Canada, ArborCare® and CNUC of Canada.
