Provide great service, specific expertise, and actionable advice to support Associate-Owners and their staff in delivering the best health, beauty, and convenience services to Canadians.Nature and Scope:Senior Manager, Planning and System Development is responsible for developing tools, reporting and analytical framework, developing, and managing the planning process and the S&OP for Central Pharmacy Services (CPS) and driving operating leverage and supporting data driven decision making.What you will do:· Lead the Planning and Forecasting process at all CPS sites (this includes CYP, MYP and Forecast). Track and analyze results and financial performance to support initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement (financial, script count, store penetration and other metrics as required)· Drive the integration of the Sales and Operations Planning into daily decision-making processes, fostering a culture of data-driven insights that extends throughout the organization· Develop and manage Reporting systems leveraging Power BI platform to provide transparency and enhance decision making, including dashboards and period end reporting packages· Develop, maintain, and manage the NCTM Inventory Management databases for all CPS sites· Explore and implement new data sources through creating standardized data tables· Lead development efforts for CPS-wide initiatives and execution of Tools and solutions, including formulary management, operational optimization, and operational reporting· Develop and manage the Incident Management process with other business units· Oversee the pharmacy system enhancement roadmap for CPS sites· Other duties as requested/assigned by businessWhat you will need:· University degree with focus on Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science· Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SQL, Power BI, Teradata & Python· Ability to develop and manage tools and reporting systems· Business acumen and superior knowledge of Retail pharmacy operations and CPS operations.· Understanding of pharmaceutical/health care industry a strong asset· Ability to communicate effectively leveraging data, statistics, market research, scientific studies, and other relevant information to influence individuals from a variety of educational backgrounds, seniority and experience· Experience in setting up and managing inventory system is an asset· Excellent analytical skills: ability to rapidly assess relevance, accuracy, and statistical significance· Experience managing sensitive programs in highly regulated environments· Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including ability to work in a cross-functional environment and communicate with all levels of the organization· Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to drive clear action and ownership· Exceptional project and time management skills· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentWhy work at Shoppers Drug Mart?Acting as consultants, supporting internal customers and the Associate-Owners, you will get experience unique to the retail industry while working for an award-winning national brand.
