Job Description: Duties:
- Complete behavioural assessments and plan treatment strategies in conjunction with team members, and under the supervision of a Psychologist.
- Develop, implement, summarize, and document individual tracking forms.
- Develop, implement and document individual client consultation reports.
- Coordinate and monitor service delivery and assist in the development and delivery of training sessions for clients, staff and community partners.
- Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to review clients and organize daily assignments.
- Complete and maintain all necessary documentation as per The Royal’s policies and procedures.
- Complete all required non-clinical administrative documentation (i.e. workload measurement, quality improvement, forms, etc.).
- Provide Education to community partners about behavior management.
- Identify and coordinate provision of service and resources for clients, in collaboration with affiliate and community partners, advocating on client’s behalf.
- Conduct home visits to clients, requiring extensive driving in the catchment area.
- Other duties may reasonably be assigned
- Work in a manner that is in compliance with staff and patient/client safety practices, policies and procedures of The Royal.

Qualifications:
- Post graduate diploma or degree from a recognized college or university such as a diploma in Behaviour Analysis or a related field. i.e. Behavioural Science Technology (preferred), or a related undergraduate degree with emphasis on applied behavior analysis
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge in the field of developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioural analysis
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a professional multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Previous experience in a Dual Diagnosis setting is considered an asset
- Experience working in community mental health is considered an asset
- Knowledge of consultation model
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Access to a reliable vehicle to be used in day-to-day job duties and responsibilities.
- English level A- in oral expression, oral comprehension, reading and writing is mandatory. Bilingual (French/English) is considered an asset.
