If you are local to one of our hubs (Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto) you will be expected to be in office minimum once per week on one of our Anchor Days.What You’ll Do:Development of intuitive and robust front end for AI driven solutionsIntegrate with custom AI solutions API, optimizing for efficient architectureCollaborating cross-functionally: Work in an agile environment alongside ML engineers, MLOps specialists, and full-stack developersInnovating and learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML trends, challenge yourself, and refine your expertiseContributing to the broader engineering community: Collaborate across teams, mentor others, and review code to maintain high standardsA Day In the Life Might Look like:Working with a team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions to Clio customersWorking in an agile environment with our team of full stack developers across a variety of projectsUsing a wide range of technologies, learning new things, and challenging yourselfParticipating in diverse projects and collaborating with multiple engineering teams across three countriesReviewing and providing feedback on a peer’s code, both from within your own team or across all of ClioWhat You May Have:Experience in software development, specifically with building mobile and web applications at scale using Python (Django) and ReactExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresThe ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively in an ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customersExperience working with large-scale systemsA diverse base of knowledge that allows you to help your team solve complex technical problemsA history of successful projects (as well as a collection of lessons learned from failed projects)Clear communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow Clions and customersBonus Points For:LLM experience: Familiarity with open-source LLMs and APIs for commercial models like ChatGPT or GeminiFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and distributed systemsUnderstanding of legal tech and the unique challenges faced by legal professionalsWhat you will find here:Compensation is one of the main components of Clio’s Total Rewards Program.
