The Student Library Assistants will assist patrons with questions in-person and via chat, circulate Learning Commons materials, and generally keep the Learning Commons in good order.This is an on-campus casual position that includes shifts on weekday evenings (4:30-9:00) and Sundays (1-5, 5-9). In addition, the following skills/abilities are necessary to succeed in this position:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience accessing library services (searching the catalogue, placing holds, searching databases, etc.)
• Past employment/volunteer work involving libraries and/or general customer service roles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking ability
